WA ABHA STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Denim and Lace Barrel Racing Association Inc is a WA based Club that has been affiliated with ABHA since 2018. We were honoured to host the first ABHA State Barrel Racing Championships with the chosen location being the Gingin Campdraft arena, Gingin Equestrian Centre. The Campdraft facility was the perfect location, the safe surface and area to set a standard pattern for the weekend’s competition.

We were able to make this event the richest barrel race in Western Australian history. This could not have been done without the support from ABHA and work of the Denim and Lace team and all the other WA ABHA affiliates and sponsors both local and interstate, though a special thank you must be mentioned to Di Pearce and Riding With Angels.

Now to introduce our Open 4D Divisional Champions.

Dakota Zulu Bindi is locally Bred by Drew and Sedley Gibbs of Dakota Stud in Gingin WA. She is sired by Dakota Zulu Warrior out of a Docs Kool Widower daughter Dakota Take It Easy who is a by a Traditional Roc son Reebok Roc. Bindi is a seasoned campaigner; she has won WA ABCRA state barrel horse of the year 4 years consecutive 2015-2018 helping Wendy
