1. Visit: There are more than 35 wineries with cellar door sales in Mudgee – too many to visit over a weekend. Many have something special to offer and cater to individual interests. First Ridge offers stunning hilltop views, Huntington Estate regularly features live music, petrol heads will appreciate the motorcycle collection at Robert Stein Winery, and dog lovers can bring their pet for lunch at Moothi Estate.
2. Drink: Not a wine drinker? There are many other options to quench your thirst. Our favourites include the Baker Williams Distillery (their cafe liqueur delivers a killer espresso martini) and the Mudgee Brewing Company (try the creamy Mudgee Mud imperial stout).
