When setting out on this rebuild, I did have some sort of plan in place, and it involved creating a machine which, broadly speaking, resembled a competition Triumph twin, as used in the mid-1960s, and I wanted to do it using the parts I had collected or acquired over a period of years. This was to show it was possible to create a motorcycle on a reduced budget which would work and look okay, too.
