A MEGA FIND

Sink your teeth into this treasure-hunting tale. Six-year-old Sammy Shelton was at the beach with his dad, Peter, in Suffolk, UK,three million years ago. The largest shark to have ever existed, megalodon lived in the ocean between three and 23 million years ago and grew to a massive 18 metres long! Speaking about his son’s discovery, Peter told the BBC, ‘Sammy was very excited as we’d seen fragments of shark teeth on the beach, but nothing as big and heavy as this.’ He added that Sammy has become ‘very attached to it’ and that he even slept with it. A slightly less comfortable option to the usual soft toys kids like!
