GIVE IT A BREAK!

For those lucky enough to live on the Sunshine Coast, Lorne or Coffs Harbour, adventure is never far from home. But for riders living within the confines of the capital cities, any adventure involves far too many traffic lights before the fun starts. Riding on a cold, wet Friday night in peak-hour will certainly provide stimulation, but never the inspiration only wide open roads can deliver. Roads that lead into unknown territory; for only by discovering how the other half of Australia lives, will the adventure become truly memorable.

THE PREMIER STATE is home to the most impressive and accessible coastline in the nation and any Sydney-based rider who hasn’t yet taken the Princes Highway south, or the Pacific Highway north, is spurning two of Australia’s greatest rides. For the most expansive ocean panoramas, the freshest seafood and the quirkiest accommodation, check out the many byways and no-through-roads on the ocean side of the main highways.
