Odds are, the skin below your chin gets a lot less TLC than your face does. Beyond a quick slick of moisturiser, a hand cream (to repair some sanitiser-induced trauma) and maybe a pre-self-tan body scrub, we’re willing to bet body care normally takes a back seat in your skincare routine.

Luckily, beauty companies are stepping up their game when it comes to body care, investing in new, innovative formulations and even putting active ingredients normally reserved for the face to work in body-care products.

‘I truly believe that skincare for the body is going to be the next frontier when it comes to the beauty industry and the whole skincare world,’ says New York dermatologist Shereene Idriss.
