AT HOME WITH ASIAN ART

y journey in Asian art began in 1994, but I’d been fascinated by all things Asian since childhood. Over the years, it has become my number one passion. Not only do I collect, but my dear friend and doyenne of Japanese art in South Africa, Bernie Stanko, took me under her wing and taught me how to remount old scrolls onto rigid boards, making them much easier to display in Western homes. She also taught me how to paint in the Japanese style that room dividers.
