SEWING LOG CABIN HEXAGONS – TROUBLESHOOTING

Help! When making a Log Cabin Hexagon, is it a problem if the final sides aren’t the same length?

If you are making a stand-alone Log Cabin Hexagon, for example a place mat, thenshows how to position the ruler, with the red 60° line along the seam. The width of the sewn strip can also be checked at the same time – in this case 1¼in (shown by the orange arrow).
