Last call for chandlery

Arthur’s Chandlery in Gosport has announced it will be closing at the end of the season. It was opened 58 years ago by Bob Arthur.

A spokesman said: “Arthur’s has been up for sale for over two years now. There has been little interest over this time and we have exciting new plans for our futures.

“Therefore, with deep sadness, we have given notice to our landlord and Arthur’s will be closing for the last time at the end of this season. Fifty-eight years on from Bob Arthur first opening times have changed and now is the time for us to move on… with thanks to all our customers past and present.
