Calling the ‘Engine Whisperer’

My boat is in Albufeira Q Marina and I recently had an engine fuel problem which we sorted with the help of Stu Davies.

Changing the secondary fuel filter has always been easily done, but the primary filter has always been problematic.

We fitted a new secondary filter but we couldn’t prime it with diesel. After two hours we managed to get enough diesel into the filter for the engine to run intermittently, and after another 30 minutes the engine was running fine.

The primary filter was then. fitted but no matter what we did no diesel was reaching it. We sucked and blew and pumped but nothing was happening.
