Stronger muscles give you more support, so make sure every meal contains protein, such as chicken, turkey, eggs, fish, tofu or pulses. Avoid carb-only meals, such as toast or a bowl of pasta, as they won’t feed your muscles and will make you feel sluggish. Try adding a poached egg to your toast for breakfast, and at lunch make pasta a side dish to protein food such as grilled chicken or salmon.
