CATHERINE MARTIN: “I remember [ex-Vogue stylist] Tory Collison telling me about you and that I would absolutely love what you do. I came and saw an incredible show that you did at fashion week. I was just absolutely blown away by you. I think the first pieces I bought were from the collection that had printed pictures of jewels on them.”

LUKE SALES: “Yes, it was a bit Deco-inspired.”

CM: “From that time on, I just thought there are a lot of great commercial designers here, but your clothes are in that really fashion-forward, art-meets-fashion category. You’re in a class of your own and you keep bringing it. I think you’re really special because you’ve survived and found your commercial niche, but at the same time, never compromised the sense behind what you do.”

LS: “That’s so nice to hear. We’re two weeks out of doing another show and it’s just what we need to hear at the moment.”
