MATERIALS

• 21in square of solid white fabric (cushion front)

• 22in square of print fabric (cushion back)

• Assorted print fabrics (appliqué). Helen used a 10in square of brown print fabric for the rabbit, five different green print fabrics and eight pink and orange print fabrics

• 22in square of thin fusible batting such as Pellon H630

• Hugs ’n Kisses appliqué paper sheets – see Note

• Water-soluble fabric glue pen such as Sewline

• 6mm ( 1/4in) bias tape maker

• Appliqué glue such as Roxanne’s Glue Baste It

• Appliqué needles and size 7 crewel needle

• Presencia Finca Perle #16 thread in mid-brown (embroidery)

• Appliqué threads to match the fabrics. Helen recommends Superior Bottomline
