Filling in risk assessments is one of modern life’s most tedious chores. I slumped begrudgingly over my keyboard to write a lengthy list of risk analysis, mitigations, preventions and avoidances. Richard Gould and I had agreed to demonstrate the notoriously hazard-ridden crafts of hedge-laying and charcoal making.
The demo was for more than 3,500 children, who descended upon the county showground for the 20th running of the Suffolk School
