Fresh, focused and complex in structure, it presents a richness of Asian pear and spiced oak that develops as it opens on the midpalate. Lush and weighty, this wine has been made since 1996. —V.B.

It’s been a vineyard-designate for Ramey since 2002, the block planted to a portion of Musqué. Tangerine, grapefruit and wet stone underscore the sharp acidity and enduring freshness—the wine sleek and fine-tuned. Orange and apple-blossom aromas jump from the glass and contribute to its gorgeous appeal. —V.B.
