Q My arms and legs are covered in little red bumps, and nothing seems to get rid of them. What is this? Sian, Chippenham

A The most common cause of little red bumps on the arms and legs is a skin condition called keratosis pilaris (KP).

Around 50% of adolescents are affected, and 40% of adults. The exact cause is not known.
