Q. I had a 1948 Chevy in the late ’60s that came with a windshield visor. Now I have a ’49 Mercury station wagon that definitely would look good with a visor. I once had a chance to buy an NOS visor that would fit.

I did not buy and install the visor on the Mercury wagon as, from experience with my ’48 Chevy, I knew that the aerodynamics were wrong.
