How Inc. Selected the Best Workplaces of 2022
The Best Workplaces list was determined by calculating engagement scores and benefits scores for thousands of applicants. Employees at each company completed a 37-item questionnaire, and the raw data was calculated on a six-point Likert scale (strongly disagree to strongly agree) to find an average score that is indexed to a 100-point scale. Benefits and perks, including health insurance and 401(k)s, were assigned a 1-to-4 weighting.
