Keepers of the past

As birthday presents go, six ewes and a ram must rate as a pretty unusual gift, even for a farming family. Mind you, they weren’t just any old sheep, they were prized Australian Whites, the breed restaurateurs and foodies all over the country like to call the “Wagyu of sheep” for the fine marbling, tenderness and depth of flavour of the meat.
