He has been a gardener, farm worker, mental health worker, woodland contractor, and disabled countryside access advisor—for which he earned two major Scottish Awards. The author has had two books on Scottish native trees published. Currently, in semi-retirement, he runs a music club in Mid Argyll which involves people with disabilities and health issues.view less
