Just when you think the pinnacle of difficulty has been reached by the Kosciuszko Killer course markers, Huey sticks his oar in and says “let’s add a bit more misfortune” and sends down a continuous soaking drizzle. In the lead up to the event competitors were advised to expect dry dusty conditions and to use filter skins. The weather in the high country can be unpredictable and erratic though and the weekend of the 2/3 April was no different. It was the opposite of what was forecast.
