Short-term vegetable price inflation to remain steady

Although the effects of the heavy rainfall experienced earlier in 2022, which resulted in lower quality and volumes of vegetables, might have abated, input cost pressures are likely to limit the degree to which prices will ease over the next few months.

As a result, we expect vegetable price inflation to remain steady during the coming months.
