Wanjie Li

Singapore-born fashion photographer Wanjie Li is a student at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and a recent transplant in Boston. The city—with its rich history of drag and teeming student population—truly comes alive at night, when partygoers bear witness to an overwhelming diversity of bars, clubs and hole-in-the-wall hideouts opening their doors to anyone and everyone. And with work splashed all over top magazines and Singapore’s coolest young modelling agency under his belt all by the age of 22, if there’s one thing Li knows, it’s how to work hard, but play harder.

To me, partying is about… the thrill of possibility. Strangers, new sounds and a shared lust for life.
