The essential part, however, is your mindset. “We have to see life afresh,” Gomez explains, noting that each situation you may find boring actually has thousands of possibilities. To gain a new outlook, she suggests focusing on living in the present, reflecting on your inner state, and working to shift your perception to find fulfillment. She also recommends activities like yoga, going for a bike ride, journaling, or simply walking barefoot outside to center in the moment. “We live in paradise here. We have everything we need,” she notes. “Look for poetry and magic in everything that we have around.”
