Use Samsung’s tool to move data to SSD

Regarding Issue 626’s Cover Feature on upgrading to SSDs, in December I decided to do this on my Acer F15 laptop. Based on some helpful reviews on Amazon, I decided to get a Samsung 870 QVO 1TB SSD for £82.98 (now £84.99, www.snipca.com/41156).

It comes with free downloads of Samsung Magician, which monitors the SSD, and Samsung Data Migration (pictured). The latter copied everything from my hard drive to the SSD, including Windows 10, and created a bootable SSD.
