• Selection of Winsor & Newton Cotman flat and round brushes.

• Matisse and Jo Sonja acrylic paints: Black, Titanium White, Raw Umber, Yellow Oxide, Cadmium Yellow, Burnt Sienna, Alizarine Crimson, Olive Green, Hookers Green, Storm Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Diox Purple.

STEP ONE

I’m a big fan of Jane Austen’s literature so it seemed natural to create a still life in homage to her. This image was originally cut down from a larger photograph where I was unhappy with the composition.
