Meet the designer

Deirdre Bond-Abel, who lives in Tasmania, began her quilting journeymagazine featuring quilts upon more quilts, she fell in love, and the rest was history. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, Deirdre spent a decade owning her own quilt shop in Tasmania, designing quilts, teaching classes and inspiring others to take up the craft. She is the owner of Hat Creek Quilts and her book, , was published by Quiltmania in 2017.
