After returning from overseas, the family lived ...view moreCindy Shearer was born in Ohio in 1957. As a young girl in the early 1960s, she lived in Australia, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. After returning from overseas, the family lived in Connecticut and Florida. Cindy attended ten different schools by the time she graduated from Pomfret School in 1975. She received her BA from Dickinson College in 1979 and moved to Philadelphia, where she worked as a litigation paralegal. In 1986, Cindy and her husband, Kevin, moved to the Virgin Islands, where they built a home on Water Island. Cindy commutes by boat to St. Thomas, where she still works as a litigation paralegal. Cindy lives with her dogs and cat in her island home overlooking the sea. This is her first book.view less
