FESTIVAL LIGHTS

You will need

• One (1) Jelly Roll or forty (40) 2½in x WOF strips
• Background fabric – 2yds
• Border fabric* – ½yd
• Batting – 60in x 76in
• Backing fabric – 3½yds
• Binding fabric – ½yd
• Creative Grids Multi-Size 45/90 ruler to make half-square triangles from the strips

Finished size

■ Quilt: 52in x 68in

■ Blocks: 16in x 16in

Notes

■ WOF = width of fabric, approx. 42-44in.

■ HST = half-square triangle.

■ RST = right side(s) together.

■ *Pam and Nicky chose a border fabric that matched their background fabric.

Sorting the strips

This quilt does need three (3) distinct colourways although artistic licence can be used and there can be variation within the colourways. Sort the Jelly Roll as follows:
