'Maury' ends a 30-year-run, marking the closure of an era
For decades, audiences have loved the chair-throwing, bleeped out antics of Maury Povich's guests. But at the end of this season, viewers will have to be satisfied with reruns.

After 30 years of talking about teen pregnancies, rare phobias and sexual infidelities as well as revealing who is or is not the father, daytime talk show host Maury Povich is saying goodbye to audiences.
AnNBCUniversal it is canceling at the end of the 2021-22 season, when Povich plans to retire. The media company did not immediately respond to NPR's request for comment.
