Auscision Models

Auscision Models has announced the production of their second publication ‘Rails NSW – The 80’s’ which showcases the photographic work of Graham Cotterall’s 1980s NSW railway photos. The publication is a large format hard-cover book of 200 pages with 185 colour photographs. This book will be available in March 2022.

Sound equipped models

Unfortunately, due to the worldwide chip shortage Auscision Models are waiting for the delivery of ESU LokSound decoders. ESU have been unable to supply the large numbers needed. However, Auscision Models are working on DCC sound kit for the Victorian Railways ‘Tait’ sets and the Tangara sets in HO scale r-t-r.

N scale projects

National Rail – Pacific National NR Class diesel locomotive in N scale r-t-r is now in production. This model will initially only be available through Auscision Models and Australian Modeller. Once the NR class is delivered Auscision Models will advise of their next N scale locomotive project, Auscision Models has been working in the background tooling up several N Scale locomotives. Painted pilot models of the SRA of NSW NHFF coal Hopper in N scale r-t-r will be available soon.

 National Rail – Pacific National NR class. Due in 2022 is a new release of HO Scale r-t-r NR class locomotives in National Rail and Pacific National liveries. Fourteen new numbers will be available.

• NR13 and NR104 in National Rail, NR40 in National Rail with ‘The Ghan’ headboard.

• NR4, NR22, and NR100 in Pacific National four stars.

• NR11, NR98 and NR107 in Pacific National five stars.

• NR36 and NR122 in Pacific National five stars (unique livery).

• NR14 and NR34 in Pacific National ‘Real Trains’ and NR66 Pacific
