Athearn Trains has scheduled a re-run of their Southern Pacific SD40R GRIP series of locomotives in HO scale r-t-r. These locomotives can be modified into BHP Billiton SD40s. See AMRM issue 344 and 345, October and December 2020 for background and details.
Casula Hobbies has announced a re-run of their NSWGR RUB coaches, in HO scale.
Tooling issues have required that the power van sides are to be cast in resin instead of injection moulded.
Eureka Models has announced a re-run of the NSWGR AD60 4-8-4+4-8-4 Beyer-Garratt steam locomotive in HO scale r-t-r, this re-run includes:
• 6007 and 6016 ‘ex works’ lined black
• 6020 ‘Centenary colours’
• 6027 plain black, long bunker, sound tubes
• 6029 as preserved - ARHS - ACT or as preserved - NSW Transport Heritage
• 6032 and 6036 plain black, long bunker and sound tubes
The Victorian Railways K class 2-8-0 steam locomotive in HO scale r-t-r project is being manufactured in conjunction with Phoenix Reproductions. Delivery is expected in late 2022—early 2023. Existing orders on the books with Eureka Models will be supplied and supported by Eureka Models.
The NSWGR C38 class 4-6-2 steam locomotive HO scale r-t-r re-run has recommenced after Chinese New Year and delivery is now scheduled for late 2022.
This re-run will include the following engine numbers.
• Streamlined: 3801 Green/Black/Grey, 3802 Special Green 1946-1953, 3803 Special Green 1946-1953, 3804 Black late 1950s, 3805 Black late 1950s • Non-Streamlined: 3806 Special Green with black smoke box, 3807 Royal pilot train black, 3809,
