Uncomfortable truths

Session two...

Jackie arrived for her second session carrying a giant sketchbook, which she couldn’t wait to show me. It was filled with drawings and pictures cut out from magazines. Jackie had written in bright colours all the values that were important to her: courage, being outdoors, a sense of purpose, helping others, a sense of achievement, being part of a community, and fun and laughter. She was brimming with excitement as she talked me through the contents of the sketchbook.
