CROSBY, CANNABIS AND STASH

avid Crosby, famous for being a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash and the Byrds, has been a name synonymous with weed for the majority, he opened up about the cannabis that he shares with his wife and son, and his extensive lifetime use of the plant. He even explained how he’s the person who gave The Beatles weed. “In England back then, they had only hash and they would mix it with tobacco,” he explained. “Now I get there, and I’m used to rolling joints of really good weed. I give George Harrison really good weed and he likes that a whole shitload better than hash and tobacco!” When The Beatles came to the United States, Crosby says he was the first person they hit up for weed. Decades later, Crosby has the foundation laid out for his cannabis brand, The Mighty Croz, but is waiting for federal legalization before entering the industry. “I want it legal because I know I was in prison with guys who were in there for that much marijuana,” he said as he gestured to the palm of his hand. “[The] numbers are unequivocal and quite plain. Black people get busted more, that’s cause cops look at them more and it’s not fair. And to put anybody—Black, white, brown, yellow, purple, pink, any color—in jail for a handful of flowers is fucking nonsense.”
