I was fortunate enough to grow up surrounded by horses, sharing a passion for racing with my parents who owned National Hunt horses. I have early memories of bunking off school to watch John Francome riding one of my parents’ horses. School always came a distant second when we had a horse running.

My journey into endurance was a bit of an accident really.
