CATCHING UP WITH OLIVIA HAMOOD AT GLEN HAVEN PARK

Tell us about your background?

I was born into a horsey family my mum Paula Hamood was a world cup showjumper and represented Australia 3 times. My dad was heavily involved in the Thoroughbred industry at Glen Haven Stud in Birdwood in the Adelaide Hills. I have pretty much been riding since I could walk. I started out in the hack arena until I was old enough to jump in official competitions which was 12yrs old and from that day forward I’ve never looked back. I spent 13 months in Europe competing in 2012/2013 with Ludo Philippaerts before returning home and commencing my own business at Glen Haven Park in Kilcoy QLD.
