NISSAN PAO (1989-91)

Nissan’s ‘Pike Factory’ was established in the mid-1980s as a special projects division with the primary aim of creating new models that would grab the public’s attention. And with classic British cars becoming increasingly popular in Japan at the time, Nissan decided to borrow classic styling cues from established models to make them stand out, becoming one of the pioneers of ‘Nostalgic Modern’ styling.
