NISSAN FIGARO (1991)
he Figaro dates from a fascinating era for Nissan, with a host of limited-run retro-style models being built by the company’s special projects division, known as Pike Factory. These included the Be-1 three-door hatch of 1987, the quirky S-Cargo panel van and the Pao, but the Figaro of 1991 was the stand-out. Indeed, the original production run of 8000 went down so well that a second batch of 12,000 was produced, with would be buyers entering a lottery to get a place on the order books.
