The shooting season is over and it is time to start planning for the spring and summer working tests, and hopefully some new arrivals.

Last month, I mentioned that Ted had been assessed and selected as a stud dog for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, a charity that trains dogs to help those with impaired hearing by alerting them to everyday sounds such as a telephone or doorbell ringing, a fire alarm, or even an alarm clock. They are looking for a well-balanced, biddable dog with a sound temperament, and Ted ticks all those boxes.
