MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS

□ 17" x 64" rectangle of repurposed quilt. It can be made shorter or narrower depending on the amount of quilt you have and where it will be displayed. Size might also depend on the pattern of the quilt. When selecting your quilt, choose a pattern that doesn’t overshadow the pineapple design.□ 14" x 20" gold/brown wool for pineapples□ 10" x 14" dark green wool for large pineapple tops□ 8" x 14" medium green□ 6" x 10" light green wool for small pineapple tops□ 4" x 7" black wool for crows, sheep heads, and legs□ 3" x 5" dark gold wool for stars□ 4" x 8" medium gold wool for eagles□ 4" x 5" blue wool for eagle shields and flags□ 3" x 6" dark red wool plaid for large bottom hearts□ 3" x 4" red wool plaid for middle hearts□ 4" x 6" gray wool for roofs□ 4" x 6" tan wool for houses□ 3" x 5" rust wool for doors and chimneys□ 3" x 4" yellow wool for windows□ 3" x 5" dark gray/black wool for cats□ 7" x 8" white wool for moons, sheep, and flag backgrounds□ 4" x 6" light blue wool for paisley bases□ 3" x 4" light gold wool for paisley middles□ 3½" square dark blue wool for paisley tops and flag□ 3" x 6" deep red wool for ¼" flag stripes□ 5" x 6" tan plaid wool for gloves□ 2" x 4" bright red wool for hearts on gloves□ 4" x 5" green wool for flower stems and leaves□ Scraps of wool in gray, red, reddish plaid, brown, and three shades of purple for crow’s wings, stars on eagles, smallest hearts, band on gloves, and flowers□ Accent color beads for the center of stars, small heart tops, and flowers□ White buttons for flags□ Floss or perle cotton in colors to match or contrast, you choose (Kristine and Jeri chose to use two strands of floss for all)□ Freezer paper
