Noodhulp King of the Mile

The Noodhulp Koning van die Myl (King of the Mile) took place for the third time last year from 25 to 27 November. It has grown in stature from its inception to the point where some of the top shooters compete for the coveted title.

In order to understand the format and spirit of the competition, it is necessary to dwell on the past for a while. About six years ago, a few close friends, all members of the South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) West Coast, decided to establish a shooting range on the farm Noodhulp, close to Paternoster on the West Coast.
