I know, you won’t believe it but I started out as a goalkeeper because I used to play with older guys. Strange but true. I never went through any development but used to sneak out from training with boys my age, 13 or so, so that I could go and play with older guys where I got serious competition. From age 13 I was already with seniors, which was tough but felt encouraging because they gave me the freedom to play with no fear.
