HAPPINESS THROUGH COLOUR

Colour can be calming, exciting, make one feel slightly uncomfortable – the reason why so many fast-food restaurants use bright loud colours is to make you eat fast and not linger. Red and yellow, as a combination, can stimulate hunger, which may help to explain, in part, the success of fast-food restaurants such as McDonald’s and Burger King. The phenomenon has been referred to as the “ketchup & mustard” theory.
