• Painting medium: I mix my own in a ratio of 1:1 (5050) from Winsor & Newton Artisan thinner and safflower oil
• A medium-sized kite-shaped painting knife (for paint mixing)
• Palette: I use a flat, melamine oblong one or a disposable tear-off palette
