CARRYING THE TORCH

We all know that building a project can take time, but often there are good reasons. For many, it’s a matter of money, time and skill, but for others there’s a deeper and more meaningful reason for slow progress.

Mark Taylor, owner of this fine Escort XR3, took 14 years to complete the build, so it’s fair to say it’s been an ongoing project. But there was a very good explanation for it.

Mark explains, “It was originally my late brother’s car, and when he passed away it came to me. He was crazy about Fords, and that’s how I am too.”

Fords certainly run in the family, as Mark’s brother, Paul, was Ford-mad, and Mark’s son is actually named Ford.
