Kreisha Ballantyne is one of the most recognisable aviation writers in Australia. With experience writing for several aviation titles, Kreisha has a broad base of experience, an ability to tap into important general aviation issues and a talent for expressing in simple terms what everyone is thinking. An active pilot, she lives and loves aviation.

It always amazes me that I became a pilot. Nothing in my past indicates a route to aviation. I have no pilots in the family (although my dad did once try gliding) my friends are artists, academics and booksellers, my ex-husband is a psychologist, my father was a salesman, and my sister is a barista. I have an arts degree in Drama and Media Studies and have almost completed a post-grad in relationship counseling. Prior to being infected by the aviation bug, I spent my money on travel, theatre, books and shoes (the shoe bit remains unchanged).
