Add passwords to Chrome manually

Chrome’s built-in password manager saves you having to install a third-party tool such as LastPass, and helpfully offers to save your login details when you register with websites. Version 98 of the browser, released earlier this month, introduces the option to add passwords manually, which is useful if you didn’t store your credentials when you signed up with a site.

The feature is currently still an ‘experiment’, so you’ll need to enable it in Chrome. Type chrome://flags into the address bar, press Enter and search for the entry Add passwords in settings. Select ‘Enabled’ in the dropdown menu and relaunch the browser.
