Acer Swift X 14

Compared to the other laptops we’ve highlighted here, the Swift X 14 is rather, well, boring. Just a plain old 14in laptop with a choice of red or green lids. Move on, nothing to see.

But we think it’s a sign of Acer shifting its sights towards more demanding buyers without the cost creep that can afflict the likes of Dell and HP. It’s an all-metal chassis, but still weighs a reasonable 1.4kg, and copper heat pipes mean Acer can include GeForce).
