Pancakes are the go-to treat for a flipping good time on Shrove Tuesday (March 1st), but may I introduce these sweet cupcake toppers that will keep the pancake party going long after the frying pan has been washed up and put away.
FOR THE MAPLE SYRUP CUPCAKES
• 200g (7oz) self raising flour
• 50g (1¾oz) plain flour
• 200g (7oz) golden caster sugar
• 200g (7oz) Stork/unsalted butter
• 4 free-range eggs
• 3 tbsp maple syrup
