Not All T-shirts Are Alike
T-shirts which are cotton or a 50/50 blend of polyester and cotton make excellent T-shirt yarn. T-shirts decorated with lightweight printing are fine to use, whereas shirts which have large areas covered with thick iron-on images or heavy, plastic-like lettering will be difficult to cut and typically do not produce a satisfactory crocheted project.
